One thing; not all grounded conductors are neutral conductors.

I won't even look at a 2008 book because we are still under 2005 for about another year and don't want to confuse myself or accidentally fail something by mistake when I inspect.

I have heard about some of the changes however.

When I read both definitions and the Analysis book by IAEI, I was a little surprised at what I was reading. It also makes one think a little more as to the difference between the two in regards to the definitions.


I have some grounding and bonding classes coming up. I am going to use the '08 NEC as "guidance & clarity" for my classes even though we are also referencing the '05.
