Is the 2009 National Estimator book from Amazon a good resource ?

This would be for residental, kitchen remodels, basement finish etc.

Is the C D user friendly for a computer green horn?
Thank you for your time

I have the 2008 National Electrical Estimator, and find it to be a very useful resource. Most of their material is a little on the high side, so I can point out the "deal" my customer is getting on my pricing.

I found most of the prices to be on the low side, but you can edit all the prices, when we first started using it we marked up 50% then we discovered different marterial needed different mark up's everyone will have their own owerhead, and operating costs once you know all your costs, it should be easy to plug in the adjustments, we only use the program for residential work, or other estimates are done with a larger estimating based program.

I have use it from 1996 to 2010 (just ordered). It is a great tool . We also use the vision program as well. I prefer to use the TNE for small jobs vs the vision on larger jobs. CD is very user friendly. good luck

Is there any way you can post a few different pages from the CD/ Book so we could view them? I would like to get a better idea on what is in the book before I purchase.

Thanks
