If there is an existing outlet in a bathroom, not on a dedicated circuit, and you relocate it about a foot, by code, must it then be put on a dedicated circut.

In NJ it's not likely that you would need to upgrade anything. This would be covered under the rehab code. Just install a GFCI protected device. You can look here for more information:

Setting the correct depth for electrical boxes
I was recently on a job site and noticed that not all of the electrical boxes, especially wall boxes were not set flush with the GWB. The contractor set all boxes for 1/2" gwb, 5/8" GWB was installed. Is this a code problem for rated walls? What about un-rated walls? How is this going to finish out when they start to install the switches and receptacles wont the tails be recessed?
