Are bathroom vanity fixtures required to be on GFCI? We have not been able to determine that in NEC.
Thanks

Now add a hot tub, not hydromassage tub, and the rules go to article 680.
Many years ago I have and I am sure in these megga houses there are many. There are bathrooms that are 30'x30' not far from where I live so....Have you ever seen a hot tub in a bathroom?
I can't say that I have.
Well it may be a local amendment but it is not an NEC requirement.AHJ here (Anchorage) lets vanity lights go, but requres GFCI on shower stall lights.
Oh, true. And the OP was re vanity lights, not shower lights. I just thought I'd throw that out. Comes from having too much free time during this marvelous recession we're enjoying...![]()
