Are bathroom vanity fixtures required to be on GFCI? We have not been able to determine that in NEC.

Vanity lights have never been required to be GFCI protected in a bathroom by the NEC. I have never seen a listed fixture that requires it either but there may be.
I have seen many fans that call for GFCI protection if installed over a shower but the NEC is silent on that issue.
Now add a hot tub, not hydromassage tub, and the rules go to article 680.

Many years ago I have and I am sure in these megga houses there are many. There are bathrooms that are 30'x30' not far from where I live so....Have you ever seen a hot tub in a bathroom?
I can't say that I have.

Well it may be a local amendment but it is not an NEC requirement.

I can't say that I have.
Unfortunately, I have seen many bathrooms in hot tubs, but not the other way around!:grin:
