With respect to 2011 NEC, 210.11(C)(3) "Last sentance"
As I understand what is written in the above citation, there can only be one outlet for this branch circuit. You would be allowed to connect other loads within that same bathroom but nothing else.
I have always understood that I could use this branch circuit to supply other bathroom receptacles. If I did that, then I would not be able to supply other loads from this branch circuit to the bathroom.
Since this citation is not highlighted I have the feeling I've been violating code on some installations.
