We have an extremely small install in which there will be lead acid batteries installed outdoors at 24V. Due to weather conditions, just setting them in an above ground enclosure would degrade them, so we are trying to consider partial burial. Backyard guys commonly just grab a Rubbermaid tub but we will need something more proper. Any thoughts? This likely will be a temporary install before owner upgrades the system so just need to get it weather tight and "rated"....

Yeah, being such a temporary solution, it might be best to just ignore the "bury" concept and focus on getting signed off. I already know this thing will get upgraded about 30 days after installed. Owner does not want to deal with drama with the code guys but is doing an underground vault for big Lithium storage.
