Im reviewing a cutsheet for a battery charger and see that the one im reviewing says 24v, 10 amps. Does anyone know if that means 10 amps @ 24v, or 10A at the nominal line voltage (120v).
Trying to see how many of these will fit on a 120v, 20A circuit.
Mine too, and I see efficiency ranges of 50 to >80 percent. So, the worst case scenario would be 240 watts, or 2 at 120v, times two, or 4 amps per charger.
I don't see the 4 amps as a continuous load, as it's unlikely that the charger would run at full output for 3 hours.
On a side note it sounds as if you have an array of chargers you are installing - are you doing anything for ventilation or hydrogen offgassing from batteries?
