Battery operated drill batteries

They switch the batteries clip in to drill on the Dewa. From old version to new style 4 years ago. if you know what I mean.
The batteries fall out all the time. Lucky I'm not on the sixth floor. Old style was better. Anyone else experiencing this with Dewa

I don't use them. I do have an adapter for the dewalt multitool to m18 battery. It doesn't slip so maybe there is some warranty voiding adapter that would bite the same dewalt battery harder
