I have about 120 sealed lead acid batteries that I maintain. They range from 8 amp hours to 100 amp hours
For testing, I have an ACT tester http://www.actmeters.com/battery-testing/chrome-12v-sla-intelligent-battery-tester
and a BK series 600 tester http://www.bkprecision.com/products...rs/600-12v-sla-battery-capacity-analyzer.html

I prefer the B&K tester, the ACT tester does not seem to work that well. The B&K actually loads the battery
There is a new version of both testers out.
I am looking at the B&K model 601, or the ACT Gold Plus. Maybe the ACT Gold Plus would work better than the ACT Gold I have.
The B&K only gives percent capacity but the ACT Gold Plus shows actual amp hours
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

FOR FIRE ALARM YOU NEED A PRINT OUT OF THE AH CAPACITY OF THE BATTERY.
EACH BATTERY MUST BE NUMBERED AND RECORDED AS TO ITS AH CAPACITY DURING THE TEST.
NOT SURE IF THIS HELPS YOU MAKE A CHOICE.

BUT FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN LATELY MOST JUST SIGN OFF ON THEM. SHOULD NOT BE DONE BUT HE WAS NICET 3. THAT MADE IT OK I GUESS.

Whats with all the yelling??

Tom, have you looked at impedance testing? Meggers EBITE line of battery testers are excellent and I have used them for years testing substation battery systems.
