Behavior of Compound during a pour

Is it normal to experience leaking of any compound through the fiber dam?

Is it normal to see the compound level go lower and to put more compound in the seal to 'top it off'?

How much is normal? any at all, a drip, an ounce,

You shouldn't have any leakage but I've seen it many times.

If you pour the compound stiff and it traps air , it will settle.
