They take a Bell box, fancy cord, Decora devices, add in what looks like some hacked together switches, fuse holders and cord grips to fit in the knockouts, and abracadabra, you have an over priced decorative extension cord.

If only I had thought to patent and sell the cord I made up when I first went in business....... 100 ft 12/3 SO quad box WITH gfci protection, and a "kellems" style strain relief cord grip. Id be on a warm beach relaxing instead of wiring buildings!

I have made a few cords like that over the years, but I usually made the quad box with a 10' to 12' cord, which made it lighter and smaller, and it could be used with or without a separate long cord, made or bought.

Yes, they are UL listed. They have many patents, and it looks like they even sell their fuzzy cord separately if you're interested in upgrading your old cord

I'm actually in the process of making one myself to attach to my tool cart I use around the property. I'm using a triple gang bell box so I have enough plugins for all the chargers and everything else. I tried to buy one, but couldn't find a single power strip that had USB and used a 12awg power card.
