Is one direction better than the other for pulling thru PVC conduit?

What I mean is should your conductors be pulled so that they enter into the "face" of the bell, or into the " back" of it?

I may not be explaining this as well as I'd like to, but I hope you get the jist of what I'm asking.

Thanks

It's easier to pull your conductors in to face of the bell, toward the taper, but this only matters if all the ends are facing the same direction.

Also, there are other things to consider, it's easier to pull down hill, which end is easier to set up racks and feed from, location and number of bends, ....stuff like that matters more than the bells.

In my experience, pushing a metal snake through can more difficult than the pulling of the wires if you feed the snake into the back of the bell. Even with tape on it the snake will sometimes hit the edge of the next conduit.

Flexible fish tape leader can help with that and getting through expansion joints, or if you're cheap like me you can tape a zip tie to the end of your fish tape.
