A friend of mine is doing a service change. He will be installing a surface mount meter base and feeding a panel one stud bay away on the inside. How would one feed the 200 amp panel and not violate the bending radius? If he comes out of the back of the meter and into the top of the panel would this be ok? My thought would be yes unless he has 2 by 4 exterior walls.

That is always a good recommendation but not the answer I was looking for.
Use some SER cable.. NM clamp.. Nice radius.. You're good to go.
