Re: Best illustrated book on grounding???

Soares is excellent, Phil Simmons is or has written a grounding book for Delmar (he used to edit the Soares book for the IAEI when he was the Executive Director), and our host, Mike Holt, has an excellent book on grounding. It is tough to choose if it is for reference. However, for learning, I would choose Mike Holt's book since his main thrust is teaching. :D

Read Charlie's response again. He took the words from my mouth.

Edit: I'm not just saying that simply because I work for Mike.

Re: Best illustrated book on grounding???

I have both of Mike's books.
Grounding VS Bonding & Understanding the Nat. Elec. Code which includes the G vs. B chapter and much more. It covers Articles 90-460.
Excellent books. Money well spent.

Re: Best illustrated book on grounding???

I have both, the Soares and the Simmons, they are both really well written books. The Simmons is a step by step code book w/ explanations. The Soares book is more of a theory approach. Again, they both have their uniqueness to them and justifiable to buy both. I unfortunately have not read Mike's book to comment on, but have seen a couple of videos on grounding by him, excellent!!!

Re: Best illustrated book on grounding???

Thanks for the advice and perspectives. I went with Soares this time because of the availability. I found it locally. Thanks again.
