I'd recommend taking your time and learning the NEC. Skim through, highlight the chapters by Part, and participate in code discussions as take place on this and other forums. It's free, and you retain more than trying to learn how to pass the test.
I am taking my test on July 6th. I used Mike Holt's DVD's and a Associated text books. The NEC code review books/dvd really help me get familiar with the books and the calculation book/dvd also help alot. If your planning on taking a test you need to spend time with those resources if you can afford it.
