Ok, I missed some of the numbers, so I do see the reason for some high costs, and I found the sq/ft  . I don't know if I can bring myself to price ALU for the garage, we are strictly CU people, but I'll try.

I must say, I am at a loss for words. I can't imagine getting those prices around here.
I can't imagine living on your numbers around here :D
NJ has the highest property taxes; insurance rates; people per square mile (means more traffic...means more gas...it takes me 45 minutes to go 12 miles:mad:); etc etc etc.

What are some ways to find the going rates for certain areas?
NJ's rate is about double NC's rate.

It took a LOT of time.
Still isn't 100% ~ and never will be  The NEC changes every 3, and at a minimum that sheet will too :)
