I'm not really sure what it includes, probably some lighting, most likely fluorescent. Yeah, I would go with fluorescent. I guess the point is when someone calls with no plans or details it's best to shoot a lowball price at them so they'll call you back when they get plans.

It's not about a realistic price because the question can't be seriously answered, it's about giving them a happy feeling about you so they'll call back. My prices seem reasonable and only a real pro with years of experience can authoritatively bark out the price like I did.

Most of you guys would've hemmed and hawed and asked too many questions and sounded too indecisive.

They'll call back, of that I am quite sure...

I would not have given a price range but rather just said $15,000 this leaves the door open to go higher. With most people they only "hear" the low end so if you go over the high end they howl like scalded dogs. But you said $12,000 and your bill is $17,000.

Not racist but more stereotype but I never thought of middle eastern people as always wanting a low price.

All he said was the guy had a middle eastern accent and the guy wanted a low price. He didn't say he wanted a low price because he was middle eastern or that he didn't like middle eastern people. It was 1 of those engineer types that came up with that.

There will be a lot more communication between the time he heard $10k and the time he realizes 10k means $17k.

Shooting a price of between 12k and 15k does no harm:
- no specifics were discussed
- is it 12k and 15k high?
- is it starting at at between 12k and 15k
- is the need to start/complete immediate/whenever

It's like window shopping for a car.
He'll call back....and then he will cry and then it will be too late....and whose fault will that be?

I'd be willing to bet that I have far more Hollywood appeal then you ever will. :)

Have you seen this fabulous soul from "Beautiful Southern California"?
He would give an Adonis like me a run for the money.
I've seen him.
So. Cal. is beautiful partially because of him.
It's true.
