I am doing a job for t & m the next phase of job is installing 500 lights mount on bar joist height 16 - 24 feet
I figured about 800 man hours.
Anyone have an opinion????

Prefabricate as much as possible. (unless of course production is NOT the goal....). Then it would likely be less hours.

Is this just a change out? Is this for conduit, wire and light? Is this just to install the light? What type light? Don't forget lift rental costs. Also storage costs if there are any.

That comes up to 1 1/2 hours per light. You should be able to cover that easily with just a fixture install. If there is pipe and wire it may be a little short, not alot though. That sounds like a competitive figure.
