Would a "boat lift/hoist" branch circuit located in a marina (operated from a aluminum floating dock) on the water, be required to have a GFCI breaker for its branch circuit. Article that pertain to this questions???

Does it have a 15 or 20 amp, 125 volt receptacle? If so, than it would require GFCI protection. See 555.19(B)(1).

Boy how I would GFCI protect that circuit, no questions asked. Would be well worth the added (small) expense. :)
