I connected the Service panel of my new house to the temp service via a 2 pole 50A GFCI. Made it a 4 wire. While connecting the neutral for a temp basement recept I bumped the neutral bar with my finger. Impressed. I didn't feel a thing through these office hardened fingers as that GFCI tripped.

I would be too.

Did you repeat the touch of the neutral. . . .? What path do you think the 5.0 milliamp current took?
