I am running LFMC to some motors. We ran EMT to the unit from the VFD's. From the unit, we set a 4 sq box with LFMC stubbed out of the back of the box, through the wall of the unit, to the pecker head.

Now my question. At the pecker head, do I need a bond bushing to bond the LFMC?? We are also using reducing washers from 1"to 3/4" and 1" to 1/2".

Is 350.60 where I need to look??
 
Given the description IMO no you probably not required to use bonding bushing.

Did you pull an EGC?

How long is flex?
 
They aren't at both ends and the concern is to bond the LFMC. Still bad?? I agree with iwire, I think I'm good without the bond bushing.

Unfortunately they are in fact UL listed for grounding.

It is also irrelevant as he pulled an EGC to the motor and one end of the flex is bonded at the 4" sq.

As far as I know I only have to ensure that each enclosure and race way is bonded.

The motor is bonded via the EGC.

The LFMC is bonded via the 4" sq.

I am not aware of a requirement that requires both ends of LFMC to have ensured bonding.

I was reading the posts and thinking the same thing.
The more, the better. Grounding paths that is (and a few other things).
 
By the reducing washers that are listed for bonding/grounding.Didn`t this issue come up in a thread about tapered threads on a hub as opposed to a straight thread on a hub not to long ago.The reducing washer issue was well mentioned in jest,but I saw it as a fact.
