If you have an opposite service, meaning a meter/disconnect and SE cable going to house panel. the grounds and neutrals are seperated, but the electrician is using 2 seperate ground bars. Should there be a bond jumper between the 2 ground bars? thanks for any and all input!

hmm.....are you sure you dont mean SER is going to the house panel because the meter/disconnect is the first disconnection point...so should be (4) wire setup going to the house panel...which would be SER not SE.

If this is the case.....they will have an isolated grounded conductor buss bar and a grounding conductor buss bar.....no they should not be connected together.

Other than that....i must be missing something from the post.....

If you are saying they ARE doing all the above and they just choose to use (2) grounding bars for the EGC's....and they are mounted to the enclosure...then they are bonded fine.....no need for a jumper.

I was also wondering about the SE cable after the main disconnect. I am thinking it is SER cable. I also agree that the 2 grd.bar kits are bonded together by the panel enclosure.
