Attached Figure 1 and Figure 2 bonding jumper connecrion is different. The service disconnect needs to be bonded to the enclosure but not sure of what the code intent is and dont want to create parallel paths. Is Figure 1 or Figure 2 correct?

It seems to me that, in both of your diagrams, the unlabeled red line between the rectangle called "NEU" and the rectangle called "GND" is the "Main Bonding Jumper".

Article 100 Definitions.
Bonding Jumper, Main.
The connection between the Grounded Circuit Conductor and the Equipment Grounding Conductor at the service.

On the Premises side of the Main Bonding Jumper, the Grounding Electrode System and the Equipment Grounding Conductors form, in essence, a web, a mesh, a net of interconnections. There is no Code to limit the "parallel paths".

Figure 1 is correct. Figure 2 would not be allowed. The main bonding jumper must be within the enclosure. See 250.24(C).

Edit: upon closer look it looks like you have the main bonding jumper within the enclosure in both figures. But your GEC must connect to the neutral bar-not the EG bar. The ground bar in figure 1 does not need the jumper as it should already be electrically connected the enclosure.
The extra GEC "bonding jumper in figure 2 is extraneous and not needed.

I see Figure 1 in the code where bonding jumper from gnd bar to service disco enclosure can (not main bonding jumper). Recently did installation shown Figure 2 where bonding jumper not main bonding jumper comes from MBJ bus bar to the enclosure can.

Inspector now flagged it saying bonding jumper has to be in service disco coming from ground bar to can enclosure. The question is which figure is correct bonding jumper to service disconnect enclosure and is inspector correct?
