single family dwelling - replacing 200a service
only way to upgrade Water Bond without Sheetrock damage is to run it outside. Co-worker thought I could use the same conductor to connect my ground rods. I looked in the NEC, WAC & Seattle Supplemental, but could not find it. Has anybody heard of this?

You may bond the water system to the electrode grounding conductor if it of sufficient size. 250.104 (1)

I would add one other thing. The grounding electrode conductor is not required to be continuous past the first electrode. Bonding conductors may be tapped off of the GEC or connected to other electrodes to form a grounding electrode system.
