So I’ve been reading a lot on how to bond and ground but I was wondering about how to do that on separate buildings. I have a shed with a meter combo(has breakers under the meter) and it is bonded at that meter with ground rods. A new building is being put in 40 ft away and so I was going to run a 4 wire to that building into a 200 amp panel box and was wondering if I need a grounding rod at that building since the panel wasn’t getting bonded? I was told by an electrician not to because it was already grounded at the meter base so the panel in the building would basically be a sub panel.
