I believe we've talked about this before, but just verifying my correction notice.

If you splice in a box then you need to bond the box per 250.148.

Hmmm. It says: shall be connected within the box OR to the box with devices suitable for the use in accordance with 250.148 (A) through (E).
That OR made me think. But then I read C and that cleared it up for me.
IMO yes, you must bond the box if it is metal.
