Re: Bonding Bushings

Three places (maybe more, wait for others),
For bonding metal raceways that contain service conductors. And, bonding metal raceways that enter concentric or eccentric knockouts that aren't rated for grounding (rare nowadays) and bonding metal raceways that enter concentric or eccentric knockouts that were damaged or loosened during knockout removal.

Re: Bonding Bushings

I agree with mdshunk but I would add that bonding bushings aren't the only permissible method of bonding a raceway that contains service entrance conductors. Bonding locknuts and bonding wedges will also satisfy the requirement of 250.92(B)(4).

Yes, and they're cheaper than bond bushings when available.

Argentina,

You're welcome. We always like to see guys who are just starting out interested in learning about their trade and the NEC.

Re: Bonding Bushings

the only stupid question is the one not asked nobody knows everything about the code or where to find it. that is why this forum is so good new people to the trade or old everybody needs help sometimes even those who write the code that is why they ask for revisions and why the codes changes every three years
