Multifamily apartment building with an existing PVC spare conduit running through the corridor ceiling. The existing run switches to EMT where it penetrates fire walls, then back to PVC. This happens in 3 places. If I use this spare for a new feeder to a new panel, do these isolated pieces of EMT have to be bonded? If so, I'm not sure how to go about doing it unless I cut in some J-boxes? Any ideas?
I think they should be bonded, but I couldn't find exactly where it says that in the 2014 NEC. I'm pretty sure I'm missing it - do any of you guys know what section would require it?
Thanks!
