And the connection at the weatherhead, that is a lightning protection issue? I had not heard of that one before. Is Tennessee a high lightning strike area?

We have two POCOs in the same town. One requires the GEC connection at the weatherhead and the other requires it in the meterbase.
Tn has it's share of lightning but I wouldn't call it a high strike area like Florida.
