Well, I have an underground service entering the end of a trough. Its 3- 500 mcm, 2 phase conductors and a neutral.. 120/240. On top of the trough are 6 individual meters and 6 individual service mains.
Its for a few apartments in an old commercial building.
Question is, does the neutral from the poco entering the trough need to be bonded to the metal trough? Or, is bonding the neutral to the trough optional as long as a bonding means is used, ie. Bonding locknuts etc. The goal, as I understand it, is for the bonding of supply side conduits/troughs in order to comply.
The conductors entering the trough will all be connected with Polaris multi port devices.

On the Line side/Supply side of the Service Disconnect, you can bond all metal enclosures and Service Raceways to the Service grounded conductor, or you can use properly sized supply side bonding jumpers per table 250.102.

The trough being provided on the Utility/Supply side may be locked by the Utility, and they will usually terminate everything at the meter enclosure main bussing, around here the EC would be responsible for providing/installing SSBJ. To complicate it more we have (3) utilities in my area, all with different blue books and requirements.

Same here. Several poco's in tight geographic area.
So if I take a 2/0 al conductor from neutral Polaris tap in the trough, to a lug which I'll bolt to trough, this would meet the intent?

For 500 aluminum Service Conductors, 1/0 aluminum minimum, so the 2/0 aluminum would be a sufficient Bonding Jumper to the metal trough

When I was a helper, my boss liked using a split bolt, with the nut outside the trough in an appropriately-sized hole, to bond it to the neutral. As it's rated for more than one conductor, he would also land the outside GEC there.

There is no way that using this method was ever code complaint. 🤫

On the Line side/Supply side of the Service Disconnect, you can must bond all metal enclosures and Service Raceways to the Service grounded conductor, or you can either directly or using a properly sized supply side bonding jumper per table 250.102.

...
Improved it for you.
