I'm installing a 200Amp service in a residence in a location where the utility places the meter bases near the underground fed transformer. I'll run 4/0 4/0 2/0 USE AL in PVC a distance of about 200 feet. Does the code now require a bond to be run along with the service conductors? It is all underground and I don't remember having to do this in the past.

Negative. As long as the (first) service disconnect is at the house end of the run, the neutral conductor is the EGC. Past the service disconnect, there must be separate neutrals and EGC's. The disconnect is the point where the two become separate.

In the event that the first means of disconnect is at the meter, then the answer is still "no", provided you meet the requirements of 250.32(B)(2). :)
