This questions has been debated within my company, hopefully some knowledgeable person here can answer this for me. Is it allowable to bond to a commercial air conditioning units main power on/off junction box for grounding the cable lines? Scenario - running new coax cable to a commercial building, cable enters on oppisite side of where the main ground point is the only thing close to where coax enters building is the main power shut off for the air conditioner. if anyone can help with a link or referrence to a document stating what is allowed it would be greatly appreciated.
