Hello all, I upgraded my panel and installed two grounding rods 6' apart near the panel. (House built in 1966 with no proper ground). Inspector wrote up a correction to have gas pipes bonded. Water pipes have been replaced with pex, so no bonding needed to water pipes. Gas meter is located about 15 feet away from grounding rods and panel with a walkway and door in between. Question is if I can run wire underground beneath the walkway (3' wide)? I would run along the weep screed (which is how the two grounding rods are bonded together) if the door wasn't in between. I would have to run conduit up and above door and down again. Would like to avoid that. I was even thinking if I could lay a grounding rod horizontally between the two points and bond to that. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
