You are correct ... everything today is plastic:
1) The water service from the main in the street to your home meter is plastic.
2) The interior water pipes in your home are plastic.
3) The gas service from the main in the street to the meter is plastic.
4) The grill on your car is plastic.
5) The water bottles are plastic.
