All,
In our company, we are bonding the secondary side of the transformer and load side of the power supply to a screw, which will be drilled next to the equipment.
My question is can I run the Bonding directly to the ground bar? If not, is there a reason that I shouldn't do it? we also use a star washer at one of the screws when we mount a back panel.
Also, does the Bonding wire length needs to be smaller than the common wire of the equipment? I think the length doesn't matter for the internal wiring?
Please help me understand.
Note: We are a UL508A Panel shop.
