Okay, A couple of months ago I had a post on the book the Emyth.
I could not stand it.

This week I bought the E myth Contractor and I must say it was a very good read.

Also this week I read How much should I charge and where did the money go?
Those two books I can honestly say will personally change my direction in this lifetime when it comes to business. I hope those who have not read them, Will!!

Any recommendations??

It's Called Work for a Reason!: Your Success Is Your Own Damn Fault
and
Shut Up, Stop Whining, and Get a Life: A Kick-Butt Approach to a Better Life
both by Larry Winget.

Lots of em.

Think and Grow Rich Napolean Hill
How to Win Friends and Influence People

Marc, Larry Winget is pretty good? I hate to go by first impressions, he looked like some weirdo cowboy thing when I saw him on tv before

Best bet is to get these on cd or loaded into an ipod and listen to them in the car. If you do that, you will learn why you should do that instead of listening to music all the time. Not that there is anything wrong with music but if I can gain some business sense while driving instead of listening to the same songs every 2 hours on the radio then I am ahead of the masses.

Well get on the internet and get to you local library and see what they offer on CD or cassette... I know biggie small is always listening to her stuff, books on tape, Nice idea ...

read rich dad poor dad!

this is a great book and this one book really did give me the confidence to go out on my own. It gave me a whole new way of looking at money and how to get it and how to spend it. I have also followed that book up with the authors others "the cashflow quadrant" and the other slips my mind because it was years ago. 2 more I recommend that I have read in the last few years is " succesful electrical contracting" -- if there is such a thing. lol and "the ultimate sales machine" by chet holmes.
