Re: book

Because the ink reflects light in the red wavelength, and absorbs other colors??

Re: book

It changes every cycle. Red is just the "flavor of the month" this time. That or maybe the NFPA are University of Utah fans :D

Re: book

Its because the book is embarrassed, because you keep looking under its cover. I'm swimming in a bowl of cherries with two pink elephants dressed in mermaid costumes while we sip on kerosene martinis and eat chocolate covered breakers,Chuck

Re: book

Why are handbooks yellow?
Because they are scared, scared of been misunderstood just like the red code book. I am sitting on the moon in my cactus lined pajamas playing checkers with a T-REX, Chuck. Mama is that you, the footsteps a getting louder, the man is comming to get me!

Re: book

Its cold, cold and dark inside this bottle, Chuck. Please don't leave me here Gunny, Gunny please come back!!

Re: book

Actually the code book is not red at all and neither is the handbook yellow. They don't really have any color at all. As Steve pointed out, they only reflect certain wavelengths of radiation that we perceive as the colors that we have named red and yellow. Ask a color blind person what color they are.
