B bphgravity Senior Member Location Florida Mar 18, 2003 #2 Re: Box Cover Units What do you mean by box cover unit? If you mean metallic box cover plate, they must grounded. Any other metallic equipment that may become energized should also be grounded by means of a bond per 250.110.
