I have a feeder that is 200 hundred amp breaker that has 500 hundred amp mcm coming of it into 4 inch rigid conduit that we are replacing a 200 amp panel with another 200 amp panel . We have to put the 4 inch rigid into a box to transfer to smaller conduit . I could not find in the code book . 314.6 (B) only went to 6 .

There is no box fill for larger than #6 conductors, the 6X (angle) and 8X (straight) rules for wire pulls applies.

314.16(A) last sentence directs you to 314.28 for conductors larger than #4
Correction larger than #6 (brain or typo error caught by infinity()

In which case wire sizes are somewhat irrelevant, conduit size takes precedent.

I need to read thanks , to impatient
It’s easy not to read it nowadays. Since they decided to make the text so much smaller I myself have found that it’s easy to not notice something in the code because you’re squinting to read it. If you don’t have to wear glasses for everything else in your life you shouldn’t have to pull out the glasses to read the code but right now for some of us that’s the way they did it.
