I’m not sure there is one. But if you decide to use a box you should still consider the box size.

mikeames Senior Member Location Gaithersburg MD Occupation Teacher - Master Electrician - 2017 NEC Sep 5, 2024 #3 Box fill applies to chapter 3 methods unless specified so, no. 314.16(B)1 only goes to 18awg so there would be no volume allowance to calculate box fill with something like UTP cat 5/6. There are raceway fill issues if medium powered.
