I was reading a post on another forum about an LED light. The light has a driver that mounts to the light and the whole thing mounts to a junction box. The driver goes inside the JB. The question was, will the driver add to box fill? If so, would you count it like a device, such as switch or receptacle?

I know what he's talking about. It's just an led ceiling fixture with the driver mounted on the back of the fixture where the fixture leads are.

It's a ridiculously huge driver for a single fixture. They say to use a deep octagon box
