Box type for Pendants

Installing So type cabling drop fixtures 3 feet down max. Commercial Metal Trusses type. Span between trusses. Not sure probably usually 5 feet.

Conduit type Emt with compression fitting. Lets say, Fixture is in middle of truss spans. What type of box is rated without support. Or must you use a rigid conduit only?

I would support the box with a 6' length of strut between trusses.

I just looked thru window. Its actually sheetrock below metal trusses. Says open ceiling. So no grid. I think, Also, This is a fire rated ceiling. More troubles if so.
This is commercial with Residential above. Not sure if sheetrock is required. But it their. And probably staying.
