Got a Eaton BR PON 40/80 load center that the panelboard is offset (cockeyed) within the enclosure and doesn't allow for the cover to seat onto the breakers. Offset is about 3/4 inch at top and 1/4 inch at bottom. Exposing edges of breakers at the top. Any adjustments on a BR panel to square it up within the enclosure?
Already installed and would hope that it doesn't have to be removed.
It's not the cover, it sets square with the enclosure.
What's happened to QC.

Thanks, but guess no ideas on the possible fix short of replacement.
One option looking at is setting cover so it makes complete coverage then re-drill and tap cover screws to set with coverage of breakers so terminations are not exposed.

You might be able to drill & tap new holes in the cabinet for the "guts" to make it line up. Might be able to use at least one of the existing holes.

The quality ones have beige colored handles, the CH panels. They make BR to compete with cheaper customers.
I had a customer that called after looking at my bid on a triplex. They asked if I could reduce the cost by a 1000 dollars.
I agreed to and done the job using BR's.
After the final inspection and the CO they called and said the electric panels doors didn't shut right. I said I know I hate that brand. But when you asked me to go down a 1000 dollars. The name brand panels were the first to go. ;)

What is done, is done. I set cover without the alignment screw installed. With cover setting correctly over the breakers, the screws will align enough on the one side but not on the other. Installed and tightened the side that allowed alignment. Then was able to drill and tap the enclosure on the non aligned side. Hope that doesn't violate the listing.
