Brach circuits from different panels in the same conduit

In a commercial kitchen remodel , a contractor install new branch circuits
to feed the new equipment on an existing conduit with circuits from a different panel.
Can you please comment for cde requirements on this situation .

Sounds code compliant, so far.

Not disagreeing with George, but you did not mention exact routing. You might check 408.3(A)3 and 300.3(B) as far as routing & terminating.
(nothing to do with the conduit itself, but they have to termiate per code also)

The general rule is that this is acceptable. There are some limitations as Augie has mentioned.
