Attached series rating for Eaton says branch breaker. I know what a branch circuit is but does someone who know what is a branch breaker?

for the purpose of that table titled "Two-Tier Series Ratings for Type BR Loadcenters"

the branch breaker is the device installed "downstream" of the main device.

Notice some of the main devices and branch devices are the same type in that table, so it is not a description of an actual item but rather where/how it is being used for the application.

Officially, the term “branch” in this context is the last protective device in the circuit.
In context of that table I don't think it has to be "last", just further "downstream" from the source then other devices.

If using that table to determine series rating of a device that has two feeder devices ahead of it - the last device is the "branch" to the middle device. But the middle device is the "branch" to the first device.

Could they used different terminology - probably, but knowing what the table is for I think that is what it means.

What you said does apply to use of NEC terminology.
