NEC 2011 517.18A and 517.19A says "The branch circuit serving patient bed locations shall not be part of a multi-wire branch circuit"

If you are running a separate grounded conductor for each ungrounded conductor in the same raceway so as not to have to use handle ties or multiple pole circuit breakers per 210.4 is this still considered a multi-wire branch circuit?
