Branch circuit serving 120 and 240 volt loads

Is it ok to hook some loads in a control panel say from black to red then take black and white or red and white to run other loads?

Or bring a second circuit into control box but then have two disconnects to kill all power in the box.

Either one is fine. Either one has its uses. Another option is to run everything 240V.

Most Elec cloths dryers use 240 V heating elements and 120 V control and motors
Also alot of smart electric hot heater have 240 V heating elemments but use 120 volt "smart" controls. This could all be done with 240V but most don't do it that way.

OK as long as it's fed with common-trip breakers
