I cannot find anything in the NEC that would not allow you to have a primary feeder for a transformer also feed an additional load. In my case I need to use a 480 volt circuit that will be feeding a single 9 kVA transformer plus a 1.5 HP condensate pump. The 480 volt circuit branch breaker of 15 amps meets the maximum primary OCPD requirement for transformers plus the load on the secondary of the transformer plus the load of the 1.5 HP condensate pump does not exceed 50% of the 15A circuit rating to meet 210.23 (A) (2) [NEC 2008 version].
