Seems steep. What are the typical bells and whistles?

For 115kV, 3000A, 3 cyc, 650kV BIL, tank heaters, 18x3000:5A, C800 TR 2.5 CTs
For 345kV, 3000A, 2 cyc, 1300kV BIL, tank heaters, 18x3000:5A, C800 TR 2.5 CTs

Breakers include a 5yr warranty, manual jack, gas fill kit, touch up paint, and travel logger.

What else you looking for.......satellite TV?

Sounds like the basic package for most breakers ordered. 18x3000 as the number of CT wingdings?

What medium are they using for the arc quenching?

SF6 is unpopular due to environmental issues, so air blast became the norm. That said there were complaints about noise with the early units.

Just to give you a giggle. The early air blast breakers were noisy. Obvious answer, fit silencers. Unfortunately these made ideal nesting boxes for birds. Birds nests = poo and lice. It got to the stage where maintenance workers wouldn’t go near them until they were cleaned and deloused.

If the breaker operated I think the birds would have been rapidly evicted.
