If you go to a big box store you can buy BR Spa/hot tub disconncts with the breaker included for less than buying the breaker alone ( around 75$)

I've done that more than once; also bought an MB panel to obtain a replacement main breaker, often for less than the breaker alone. Also, big box stores sometimes carry stuff supply houses can't get or say don't exist.

For example: a QO 200a main breaker in a 3R enclosure. The blue store has (or had) them for about $127. Graybar can't even find the part number, but they do sell the breaker and enclosure separately for about $180.

You're preachin' to the choir!

Not to bash Graybar, but to bash Graybar: I have been in this pickle a few times...only with them, and only for them to give up on me.

If it is in my power to find it elsewhere, I will. Never again, Graybar! NEVER!

Q: How did a post about a Cutler Hammer breaker evolve into a Graybar bashing thread??!?

A: Who cares....count me in!:D

It seems around here that unless you are a 10 million dollar a year company, Graybar could care less about you. Except of course to put a 50% mark-up on whatever you buy at the counter there.

Oh yeah, I just payed $82.00 plus tax for a 80A BR breaker today at Lowes.
